The Sojourner Chronicles

BIO

IMG-0113.JPG

Leslie Calhoun is a writer of middle grade literature, children's books, young adult fantasy, and the occasional daydream. She is also a member of SCBWI. When she's not creating characters or imagining new adventures, she's a book and gift product editor at Ink & Willow, the creative line of Penguin Random House's WaterBrook imprint.

Raised in the fantastical Pacific Northwest, she has called many places home—including New Orleans, Texas, Edinburgh, London, Florence, and most recently Colorado. She has a University Scholars degree from Baylor University (not as pretentious as it sounds), a Master of Fine Arts from Kingston University, and a 2D Animation degree from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design (a bit unnecessary, but what the hey).

She lives with three superheroes in Colorado Springs and divides her time between writing by tackling her neverending to-read pile, planning her next trip, and exploring the hills with her Australian Kelpie-cattle dog, Addie.
